A busy spring

Its been a very busy spring here. Our walk for Jesse's Journey went better than we hoped, raising about $19,600 for research. Lots of people promised to be back next year, and we're looking forward to doing it all again.

Since then we've started work on all our outside projects. We're weren't happy with the railing on the deck, so its been all redone, as well as extending the deck a couple of feet to match up with the hot tub. There's still more work to do on the deck, but for now we're focusing on getting ready for sod. We've started installing the underground sprinklers, and just had fence holes drilled. We'd like to get the fence posts as well as finishing the underground sprinklers before we get sod, but the weather hasn't been cooperating.

We also started Hayden on deflazacort today. He takes two pills in the morning. The first one he managed to do perfectly, but the second one he got a taste of and spit out. Took some convincing to get him to try again, but eventually he got it down. We were worried it was going to be a real hassle, but he did very well.
