Hayden got to visit the Wascana Rehabilitation Clinic on Wednesday. The doctors were mildly concerned that he hadn't started walking yet. After talking to a social worker and a physical therapist, they learned that there's really nothing wrong. Hayden is more flexible than most kids, which makes it a little tougher to find that comfort zone when trying to stand. That along with some minor issues with how he turns his feet, its just made it a bit more difficult for him to learn how to stand and walk.
The therapists gave Mandy and Andrew some basic exercises to do with Hayden to help him learn control, and where that comfort zone is. The physical therapist would like to seem him again in 6 weeks or so to see how everything is going. She did mention that she's not really concerned though, and otherwise, he's a normal little boy.
